DARA CLIFFORD
A native of Dublin, Dara graduated from University College of Dublin Ireland with a first class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. Due to a keen interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation, Dara completed extensive training in the STOTT Pilates method. Immediately after graduation he began working in Booterstown Physiotherapy Clinic (Ireland). This afforded him the opportunity to work within a sports practice providing treatment to elite athletes and members of the public suffering from back problems, neck dysfunction, rehabilitation needs and musculoskeletal disorders. Dara was responsible for clinical Pilates within the practice as lead instructor. He has completed various rotations through many specialist areas and spent the last number of years focusing on actively treating athletes at a university level (predominantly football). Dara is committed to the STOTT Pilates method and strives to incorporate the method into all aspects of his physiotherapy treatment. He has also gained further knowledge in the practice of dry needling, biomechanics, Kinesio-taping, hydrotherapy, healthy HIIT Pilates and advanced sports nutrition, sports traumatology, acupuncture and squash coaching.
While living in London, Dara has further gained experience in the community and busy private practices. Dara has returned to Dublin and is eager to provide Physiotherapy services through DC Fitness Physio Ltd.
